Caribbean Colors opened in May
1995, as a juice bar & Caribbean gallery featuring handcrafted folk
art from the Caribbean. |

Caribbean Colors moved to its
current location at 326 Butler in the spring of 1999 and bought the
"sign store" now called Nostalgia the following year. |

The stores are adjacent in a
nearly 100 year old historical treasure, formerly a grocery store and
a doctor's office. The antique lift that transported bags of
grain to the basement still remains though no longer functional. |
